available in a variety of colors and

General Preparation

not a good idea to apply a dab of adhesive to every corner as a way to spot-fix the area.

Flat.

of allowance for the grout and adhesive. However, the weight may vary, so it is
better to fix wall tiles to tile backing boards or unplastered walls.
Types of Tile Adhesives
The two main types
of adhesives used for tiles are powdered adhesives and ready-mixed pastes.

Ready-mixed
pastes are easy-to-use as they can be applied directly from the tub. But using ready mixed pastes comes with some limitations.
They are typically used to fix only smaller ceramic tiles to walls.

Powdered
adhesives take a little more effort and
time, as you need to mix them with water into a semi-liquid
mixture. But, they give a much stronger bond than ready-mixed pastes. They are perfect for bonding natural stone
tiles, ceramic, or porcelain.
